During my recent stay at Oakwood in Nonthaburi, I experienced a blend of practicality and comfort that certainly makes it appealing for those needing a rest stop or local stay. I was in a spacious suite featuring a workable kitchen, a lounge area, and a bedroom-which is ideal for families. The room had all the essentials: a microwave, fridge, induction hob, and even a washing machine/dryer, ensuring a convenient home-like experience. While the location might not suit vacationers seeking tourist hotspots, it's merely 200 meters from a 7-11 and just steps from the subway, offering basic conveniences. Certain details like a warm water shower, and minor hygiene issues in the sink took away some luster. On the plus side, the staff was polite and efficient. A welcome drink and decent restaurant made my stay a bit enjoyable, but overall, Oakwood positions itself as an affordable choice for a quiet, safe retreat without luxurious frills. If you prioritize value over opulence, it's a reasonable option.
